On 7 March 2026, St. Christopher’s School, Nanyuki proudly hosted the PIPSSA Kenya Inter-County Sports Tournament, welcoming competing schools from across the region onto our own grounds.

The tournament brought together students competing in athletics, swimming and team sports, reflecting the breadth of St. Christopher’s own sports and athletics programme, from football and basketball to swimming and track events, backed by strong facilities and coaching.

Hosting duties gave St. Christopher’s students the chance to take on organisational and leadership roles alongside their own competitive events, a natural extension of the leadership opportunities woven through school life via student councils, clubs and mentorship programmes.

A Community Effort

  • Staff, students and parents all contributed to making the tournament run smoothly.
  • Visiting schools praised the school’s facilities and hospitality.
  • The event builds on St. Christopher’s growing reputation in regional sport, alongside its PIPSSA swimming success.

Families interested in the school’s sports programme are welcome to get in touch to learn more about how co-curricular life fits alongside academics at St. Christopher’s.
